DR SURRINDER KAUR

Dr Kaur brings over 45 years of invaluable experience as a GP and serves as our Lead Clinician and Partner. She specialises in psychiatry and women’s health, with a strong focus on early identification, prevention, and support for patients experiencing domestic violence and abuse. A passionate advocate for women’s health education, Dr Kaur is committed to raising awareness about cervical cancer and the life-saving importance of regular smear testing. Her calm, compassionate approach has helped countless patients feel informed, supported, and empowered in their healthcare choices. Deeply rooted in the local community, Dr Kaur is widely respected for her dedication, integrity, and the strong, trusting relationships she has built over decades. She continues to be a driving force for high-quality, holistic and culturally sensitive care, championing patient wellbeing at every stage of life.

DR TIM PARMAR

Dr Parmar is our long-term locum GP with over 10 years of NHS experience, working with us on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. He provides patient-centred care across both acute and long term-conditions, with a calm and approachable manner and a focus on clear communication and safe, evidence-based treatment. He is fluent in English and speaks Punjabi.

DR GURDIP SUTHI

Dr Suthi brings over 15 years of NHS experience and has worked as a dedicated GP since 2015. He has a strong clinical interest in Dermatology and is well regarded for his thorough, patient-centred approach. Having grown up locally and attended school in the area, he is well known within the community and has built long-standing relationships with the families he cares for. He is passionate about preventative medicine, early diagnosis and empowering patients with clear, accessible information about their health and is committed to providing compassionate, inclusive care to everyone he sees. Dr Suthi is also a GP Trainer, and our practice is becoming an accredited training site for future GPs under his mentorship. In addition, he serves as both the Cancer Lead for our primary care network and is our Safeguarding Lead at the practice.

First Contact Physio Therapist

JAMES MCDONALD

James is our Physiotherapist and works with us every Monday morning. Highly sought after, he supports patients with musculoskeletal conditions, injury recovery, pain management and tailored exercise plans to improve mobility and function. James works closely with our clinical team to ensure safe, effective and personalised care.

MARYAM KARIM

Female

Maryam is our Lead Practice Nurse, working with us every Monday. She specialises in asthma and COPD reviews, diabetic reviews, cervical smears, lifestyle advice and routine health checks. She plays a key role in supporting long-term condition management and ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care within the practice.

Healthcare Assistants

AMIE HICKMAN

Administrative Assistant and Healthcare Assistant

Amie is an experienced Healthcare Assistant with over 8 years working in the NHS, supporting patients with diabetes and asthma reviews, personalised lifestyle advice and ongoing management of long-term health conditions. She is also trained to administer B12, flu and pneumonia vaccinations, playing an active role in clinical care across the practice. She is also a trained Prescription Clerk, helping process medication requests safely for clinician sign-off. Alongside this, Amie assists with reception duties, processing referrals, uploading documents and general administrative support to help keep the practice running smoothly.

KAMILLA KHAN

Kamilla is a skilled Healthcare assistant with a special interest in lifestyle advice, vitamin D deficiency, diabetes and hypertension. She also provides annual asthma reviews and is trained to administer vaccinations, including flu and B12. Kamilla supports the practice on Friday afternoons.

KALVINDER TANDAY

Kalvinder has over 20 years’ NHS experience. He consults on acute presentations and manages long-term conditions, with a special interest in diabetes management. He also undertakes medication reviews and supports clinical audits. He is fluent in Punjabi.

GURKIRPAL JALAF

Sunny is a PCN Pharmacist with over three years’ experience, delivering acute illness clinics across the Olbury and Smethwick Primary Care Network. He has a special interest in Cardiovascular health and long-term conditions. He is passionate about preventative care and has recently supported 53% of patients to achieve healthy cholesterol levels through targeted medication reviews and lifestyle advice. Sunny works closely with GP’s nurses, and wider PCN teams to streamline care pathways and improve patient outcomes.

Non-clinical Partner and Business Development Manager

Meeta is our Non-Clinical Partner with a background in Family Law and over 10 years of experience working within the NHS. She is committed to supporting patients with their healthcare journey and ensuring high standards of service and patient care across the practice. She is widely recognised within the local community, Meeta brings strong leadership, advocacy and organisational skills, focusing on improving patient experience and access to care. She is also the Lead for Heath Inequalities and Lead Complaints Handler with our Primary Care Network (PCN) to ensure patients voices are heard and acted upon.

Sarb has over 30 years of experience working within the NHS and is a highly motivated, skilled Practice Manager with a proven ability to optimise practice performance and enhance patient care. She is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive, and effective working environment for both staff and patients. Alongside her management expertise, Sarb is actively involved in patient care.

POPPY BHACHU

Receptionist

Poppy has been part of our reception team for over 20 years and is well known to our patients. Alongside her receptionist role she plays a key role in organising patient events and is particularly passionate about diabetes education, prevention and lifestyle support. She also takes the lead on preparing patients for the winter and flu season, promoting the importance of flu vaccinations and regularly leads sessions to help patients better understand their condition and make positive changes to their health. She speaks Punjabi and English.

DAISY KOONER

Receptionist

Daisy is part of our reception and administrative team and is trained as a prescription clerk. She supports our clinical team by processing repeat prescriptions requests, preparing them for review and signature, and assisting with medication queries. Alongside this, Daisy helps with scanning clinical documents, processing referrals and general administrative duties playing an important role in the daily running of the practice. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi and can offer support to our diverse patients.
