Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) works in partnership with the practice to strengthen the relationships between patients and the surgery. The group provides an opportunity for patients to share their views and contribute to improving services and healthcare provisions.
Our aims:
- To offer opinions in a constructive manner and put forward ideas on behalf of patients.
- To improve the provision and quality of healthcare at the practice.
- To improve communication between the surgery, patients and the wider community about matters concerning the practice and health in general.
- To provide assistance in the development of new services.
- To encourage a sprit of self-help and support amongst patients to improve their health and social care.
- To ensure patients voices are heard in shaping future healthcare services.
- To support the practice in promoting health and wellbeing in the local community
